The next owner, a prominent Swiss industrialist, put only 30’000 km (20’000 miles) on the clock over a 25 year period (until 2006). Interesting detail: the younger employees who were successfully promoted were given the 911 to enjoy for an entire weekend! In 1984, the engine was rebuilt although it only clocked 70’000 km. It is the next owner who chose to respray the car in mustard yellow, its current color. The present owner purchased the 911T in 2008 and has driven the car since for only 7’000 km for a grand total of 105’000 km.
